Global Open Taekwon-Do Championships 5th edition

The 5th Global Open Taekwondo Championships date and venue has now been confirmed.

It will once again be held at the Caroline Springs Leisure Centre on:

It’s on again in 2025. Following on from the huge success of 2023 & 2024, averaging over 250 participants, the 2025 event promises to be one of the biggest and most inclusive weekend of Taekwon-Do activities of the year. It all happens again in Melbourne, Australia

The event is open for all ages, all ranks and all Taekwon-D0 practitioners.

The Global Open Taekwondo Championships will feature both ITF style and WT style events

Self Defense Pairs
Special Needs Pattern / Forms

Registration Deadlines

Normal Registration – Until Midnight March 10th (normal fees apply)
Late Registration – Until Midnight 30th March (20% surcharge)
NO REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED IN APRIL

Note, weight/rank information can be modified closer to event, after registration, if required.

Note : TEAM EVENTS – all members of the team MUST register for than event on their form.

Officials / Umpires

All participating non-hosting organization‘s clubs MUST provide at least 1 Competent Official who will be available, to Judge and/or Referee, where required.

(*Clubs who do not provide working referees/judges are excluded from the competitor rebate scheme)

All hosting organization Black Belts are expected to be available for officiating where required, to ensure a smooth, fair and efficient competition.

- I, the undersigned, in consideration of, and as a condition of acceptance of my entry in the tournament hosted by United ITF Taekwon-Do Australia Inc., for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators hereby waive all and any claims, right or cause of action which I or they may otherwise have, for or arising out of loss of life or injury , damage or loss of any description whatsoever, which I might suffer or sustain in the course of, or consequent upon my entry and participation in the said tournament. - I understand there are NO REFUNDS for withdrawal prior to, or on the day of the event; non-attendance on the day ; failure to report to the ring on time resulting in missing my match; disqualification for any reason including due to incorrect equipment/uniform or incorrect weigh in information (more than 5kgs); dissatisfaction with match result or refusal of visa (overseas participants).
